A few weeks into using the 5th anniversary liscio green PLOTTER as a personal planner, I can confidently say that I’m really happy with my choice.

Since the launch of Words and Roses podcast back in September, I’ve wanted to write about what it has been like to be a newbie podcaster.

Techo kaigi (planner meeting) is always exciting to do, and I have a few setups that I’m really looking forward to using.

I thought this halfway point in the year was a great opportunity to revisit my current analogue system and how the different notebooks have been working for me so far.

While I’m far from being the first person to stream stationery and journaling on Twitch, I wanted to share my experience of what it has been like for me and why I enjoy Twitch as a platform for sharing my love for all things analogue.

It has been a full three months since I told myself I would get my stationery spending more under control.

I recently customized my camel passport traveler’s notebook with leather pockets, as I did before with my olive regular traveler’s notebook.

This month marks a four-year anniversary since my first “serious” stationery order - and as you all know, I have not looked back since.

This year, I learned that January 23rd is National Handwriting Day.

Like many others in the analogue community, one of my goals this year is to use what I already have.

To start this week, something incredible happened. The Stationery Cafe hosted me as a guest in their latest episode!

There are only two more weeks left in this year, which means I’ve started preparing my 2021 analogue system.

I realize it’s not December yet, but I’ve already finalized my 2021 lineup of analogue tools!

One of the first places I set up after we moved in was my desk - not only is it my work area, but it also doubles as an analogue sanctuary where I recharge.

When I initially made the switch to using the Jibun Techo Biz for this year, I was a little skeptical of how long I could stick with it. But after having used it consistently since December 2019, I’m happy to report that it works well for my needs - so much so that I have already pre-ordered the 2021 version!

From this month until the end of September, I’ll be on the move - both in a literal and figurative sense.

These are my go-to “tools of the (stationery hobby) trade,” if you will, and I thought I would give them a feature here on the blog since I use them so much!
